Reflection on Today: First Day of Training for TeachUp! Interns
Today was a very amazing day. I really enjoyed myself at the first day of training as an intern for the TeachUp! program. I like how we had to introduce ourselves by telling something true and something false, and the class had to guess what was true and false. That was AWESOME.! I learned that the four things we need to know as an intern is: (1) teacher enablement, (2) knowledge sharing, (3) Manage Projects, and (4) Advocacy. My favorite part of training was learning how to blog. I somewhat knew what a blog was, but I learned that it is bascially questions/discussion, opinions, and feedback. Also, I enjoyed learning how to use the podcast. I think that this will become one of my favorite technology to use beside my cell phone and laptop. All in all, today was a great day and I can't wait to see what is planned for tomorrow. Signing Out: Keosha..

Hi Keosha!
ReplyDeleteI think today was a great day also! I loved the meet and greet portion of the day as well. Some people's fact/fiction information was rather tricky!
I feel the same way about the new technologies as you because I will be on my computer alot playing around with podcast and blogging now, rather than just my cell.
Today really was very interesting. I'm anxious about tomorrow as well.
Goodnight,
Tieryaa
O wow, it sounds like I missed a lot at the beginning of training, especially the getting to know each other part, and those four things sound very important too.
ReplyDeleteI will look forward though to learning more technology (the Prometheus board looked interesting didn't it? ), and getting to know everyone manually.
Wow!Keosha you really learned alot. Thanks for helping me because I was really losted. This will be a great experience for us. Maybe we will change our major to technology lol! I know this great experience will pay off later!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you were taking notes about the goals of the Intern. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed learning about blogging and podcasting. Have you started thinking about ways you can implement in the classroom?
